Kepler's Seafood is a third generation business that began with Lee Smith in 1934 at the Chestnut Street Market. The business moved to its current location in 1958 shortly after the West Shore Farmers Market opened. William Kepler acquired the business in 1968 and operated it until 1994. Since 1994 his son, Lloyd, has run the business and continues the family tradition of quality service along with a quality product.

We have the area's largest selection of fresh fish including but not limited to Wild and Organic Farmed Salmon, Cod, Organic Farmed Steelhead Trout, Haddock, Tuna, Trout, Arctic Char, Chesapeake Blue, Sea Trout, Triggerfish, Hake and Catfish. We also carry mussels, clams, oysters, calamari and raw and cooked wild caught gulf shrimp. Frozen items include lobster tails, escargot, breaded oysters, breaded shrimp, breaded clam strips, smoked trout and salmon burgers made from wild salmon. Also available are fresh soups, take and bake fish entrees, tuna salad make from fresh tuna - not canned, seafood salad, seaweed salad and crab cakes. Seasonal items include soft shell crabs, hard shell crabs, walleye, boned shad and roe.
